Pamir Restaurant has once again proudly assisted the Afghan Spice Banquet on 13/03/2011 for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2011 in Dandenong.
  
Picture of Afghanistan’s highest mountain - Pamir - at the entrance sets the theme. The traditional touch is sustained with Afghani artefacts and paintings in the dining room. Patrons can have meals in the traditional style, sitting on a persian carpet and mats in a traditional room or on more conventional dining tables in either the main seating area or in the private function room.
Baryalai Rahimi, the owner has operated the restaurant for 11 years now, but has 20 years experience in the food industry. The Chef, Fazal, has 18 years experience and has worked in Afghanistan.
Clients can select from as many as 40 varieties. Specialities include maantu and sheesh kebabs and the owner prides himself on fresh products.
